Privacy at PF Directory
This is a free, community-maintained directory. You can search it without creating an account or providing your name, email address or phone number.
Information used by the directory
The site loads publicly listed EPFO office and official contact information. When you search, the matching happens on your device after the directory data has loaded.
Like most websites, the services used to deliver this page may receive basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited and request time. This information may be present in routine server logs.
Location and “Near me”
Your browser asks for permission before sharing location. If you approve, the directory uses the coordinates temporarily to calculate distances to mapped offices. PF Directory does not save those coordinates or attach them to an account.
The interactive map uses OpenStreetMap tiles. Loading a map may send normal network information, including your IP address and the requested map area, to the map tile provider. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.
Analytics and third parties
The current directory does not require advertising cookies. An older directory page may load Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage. Google explains its handling of that information in the Google privacy policy.
Data sharing and retention
PF Directory does not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed when required by law, to protect the service or its users, or to service providers operating the site under their own privacy terms.
PF Directory does not retain a profile of your directory searches or precise location. Routine infrastructure logs, if collected by a hosting provider, may be retained according to that provider’s operational policy.
Children
The directory is a general public information service and is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly request personal information from children.
Your choices
- Decline location permission and use text search instead.
- Block optional third-party resources through your browser settings.
- Clear site permissions or browser data at any time.
Changes and contact
This policy may be updated as the directory changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
