Gaurav Meena - Data Scientist & Developer

About Me

I am Gaurav Meena, currently pursuing an M.Tech in Machine Intelligence and Data Science at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, with an expected graduation in June 2026. My research focus is on Generative AI, specifically exploring diffusion and VAE models for generating synthetic conditional tabular data while preserving privacy.

My journey into technology has been unconventional and enriching. I hold a Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Bombay. After graduating, I worked as a Software Engineer before transitioning into Civil Services, where I served as APFC and Regional Provident Fund Commissioner. This role provided me with invaluable experience in public administration, policy-making, and leading large teams.

Driven by a passion for technology's potential to solve real-world problems, I've returned to academia to deepen my expertise in AI. I am a lifelong learner, adept at full-stack development, data analysis, and automation. I thrive on challenges and am always eager to explore new tools and methodologies to create impactful solutions.
